Key West, the wine-and-dine capital of the Florida Keys will once again host the Key West Food & Wine Festival in late January, 2014. If you love to eat and drink, you simply can't miss Key

West's annual celebration of all that is delightfully, decadently delicious. Key West boasts some of the best food in both the United States and the world – homemade Italian pasta, fresh-caught seafood and made-from-scratch pastries are just a few of the island's unrivaled culinary offerings. We're getting hungry just thinking about it.

The Key West Food & Wine Festival is a six-day event that showcases the very best food and wine in the Keys. The jam-packed festival itinerary features tastings, parties, tours, contests and seminars. You can learn from an executive chef how to prepare traditional Peruvian ceviche, show off your coconut bowling skills or tour some of the most beautiful kitchens in Key West.

Admission to most Key West Food & Wine Festival events is through advance ticket purchase. Festival  events range in cost from free (coconut bowling and the Key West Wine Market) to quite pricey ($385 for three festival parties, one seminar and a VIP gift bag). If you're visiting Key West on a budget (as most people do!), check out “Girls Night Out” at Square One ($10) or “Pizza and Prosecco” at Roostica ($35), one of Key West's newest restaurants.

If you're a die-hard foodie, however, you may want to make room in your wallet to attend the biggest and most important tasting and competition in the Lower Keys – the 29^th Annual Master Chef Classic. The event, which benefits Key West's Monroe Association of ReMARCable Citizens, features premium wine, appetizers, entrees and desserts prepared by the best and most talented chefs in the Keys. Just looking for a buzz? Then you can't miss Duval “UNCORKED” 2014, a mile-long shopping, food-tasting and wine-sampling extravaganza.
